Fashionable furniture and designer chairs created an appropriately sophisticated and refined ambience for this wine masterclass led by the MBS Alumni Association and sponsored by Mr. Martin Keil, the well-known local oenologist. This is the second year that such an innovative class has been held – a most enjoyable way of acquiring useful knowledge. Nearly 40 alumni, students and friends enjoyed ten varieties of wine including some internationally famous wines and cepages recognisable from ‘The World Atlas of Wine’. At the end of the evening, everyone left the class with a welcome gift – a bottle of Burgundy from Germany.
