| July 27 - China Study Tour : New Economics | ||
| The trip to China was profoundly appreciated by our participants who visited two China corporations in the realm of the “New Economy”. The HKSAR government has been vocal in its support for the “New Economy” with its goals to foster innovation and create technology centric culture in the region. This was a great opportunity for our alumni members and students to exchange ideas with a pioneer supply chain and logistics services group headquartered in Guangzhou and a revolutionary robots company based in Shenzhen. We were absolutely amazed with the presentation by the two China corporations which provided insight on the application of new technology and artificial intelligence to traditional businesses including retailing, security and logistics. Alumni members and students in Hong Kong and Guangzhou had some good moment together by having a delicious Guangdong cuisine with lots of fun! | ||
